About Author:   Sandy Boom, 63  Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio Mother of 2, Grandma of 3 Sandy says:  "I'm now 63 and finally my life seems to improve as I age!" ........................................................... Me at 42pounds (down from 97) I get teared up whenever I think about how lucky I was to have learned about this little secret. I call it a secret because if everyone knew, the fitness and diet industry would be out of business!  You see, we don't have to work out an hour a day, or fast, or eat nothing but kale chips. Seriously, I am still AMAZED when I look in the mirror. People I haven’t met in a while have to double-check whenever they see me. "  From 278 to 143 pounds. I’m 67, 5’6”. I have my life back     and feel    great in a bikini!"              Emma Smith .            Writer at TruHealth. Mom of 4,  Grandma of 9. Lover of Food now living her best life. My journey started when we got a retirement home in Florida and I felt like a jealous teenager… After years of marriage and having kids, I never thought at nearly 60 I’d be worrying about my husband leaving me. But it was the best thing that could have happened! My Mom once said: “After having kids your body will never be the same” She was trying to scare me off boys, but those words stuck with me for the next 50 years! As soon as I had kids, there was my excuse why I struggled keeping the pounds off. I never blamed all the chocolate, soda and fried chicken I enjoyed daily And every time I tried: ✔️ Exercise ✔️ Cutting out sugar ✔️ Boiled eggs for breakfast Only having hea...

From 265 to 140! I'm 63 and 5’8. Four years ago, I thought I'd never been able to hike, not in a million years! My husband and I had recently moved to Yosemite. Now, for anyone who doesn’t know, Yosemite is a beautiful hilly area in California. There’s lots to do outdoors — hiking, cycling, horse riding, and much more. But as much as I wanted to take part in those activities...I knew I just wouldn’t be able to. Because back then I weighed 265. And no matter how much exercise and dieting I did, I could never get that weight to budge. So I’d choose to stay at home, while my family went out and had the time of their lives, enjoying the natural beauty of Yosemite. I started to fall into a deep depression. I hated myself for being so unfit. I hated that I was missing out on so many precious moments with my husband and my kids. I hated the way I looked (and couldn’t help but feel that my husband hated it too.) But what could I do? For 6 months I’d been loyally sticking to the exercis...
